H3R Aviation 1.25 lb. Halon Fire Extinguisher

Model A344T is a compact and lightweight 1.25 lb. Halon fire extinguisher designed for 1-6 person aircraft. This halon fire extinguisher effectively extinguishes flammable liquid and electrical fires. Halon is a liquefied gas that can reach hard-to-reach areas and chemically disrupt combustion.

Note - Minimum Rating.

Your hand fire extinguisher should be rated per the requirements of U.S. - UL 711, dated December 17, 2004. Hand extinguishers produced in the U.S. or those used on airplanes and/or rotorcraft operated within the U.S. should meet U.S. - UL fire rating standards.

(1) Large Aircraft. The required hand extinguishers should be listed and have a minimum U.S. - UL 5B:C rating or the equivalent. Exception: See chapter 4, paragraph 5 of this AC for minimum extinguisher ratings for use in accessible cargo compartments.

(2) Small Airplanes or Rotorcraft. You may use an extinguisher with a minimum rating of U.S. - UL 2B:C or equivalent on aircraft with maximum compartment volumes of up to 200 ft3.

Fire Extinguisher UL Classification 2B:C

Suitable for VH Registered aircraft up to 200 ft3. Your LAME will be required to install the device and sign off in the Aircraft log books.
